| LYC offers some of the finest Sailing in Delaware. Sailing lessons are available to members and non-members, as well as a Junior Sailing Camp offered throughout the summer. Sail boat rentals are available on weekends and by calling ahead. Our Sailing burgee collection is on display throughout the club house. |

Lewes Yacht Club was founded in 1932 to encourage water sports, boating, casual
sailing, and promote racing competition.
Since our humble beginnings, we continue to encouraged generations to appreciate the
Delaware Bay and the love of sailing, boating, fishing, and general water sports.
The Lewes Yacht Club stresses safety-first on the water. We offer Jr. Sailing Camp,
Adult Sailing clinics, Private sailing lessons, sailboat rentals, annual and weekly sailing
regatta events, and much more for our members at our private yacht club. Certain
events and classes are also open to non-members, through registration.

- Jr. Sailing Camp is a week long sailing instruction school to train our youth of all
ages. It is held on various weeks throughout the summer.
- Sailing Regattas are held form Spring into the Fall. Some on a weekly basis and
some annual regatta events have captivated our members.
