The pricing encourages multi-week signs ups. Sessions will be limited to 20 junior sailors per session with an approximate 1:5 ratio of instructors to junior sailors. The junior sailors will also be invited to sail and crew on the "big boats" (28' to 45') on the Weds. night races to develop interest and skills in handling larger sailboats. PLEASE BEGIN THINKING ABOUT SCHEDULING FOR YOUR JUNIOR SAILORS FOR THIS SUMMER. WE EXPECT THE SESSIONS TO FILL QUICKLY.

Interviews for Director and all Instructor postions will begin in March. We will be using Internet sign-ups for all camp sessions using the LYC website and this should be ready for roll-out by March 20th. Those members that want to use paper sign-ups will be accepted but we will manually enter them in our database.

The Sailing Committee agreed to purchase one used Opti to bring the total Opti’s to 4. The 6 Open Bics are here and one is displayed in the Regatta Room.
