To be placed on the wait list, you must complete the Application for Membership below
and mail a nonrefundable fee of $300.00. When the Club receives the application
information and fee, a letter or email will be sent confirming that the applicant is on the
waiting list. If the fee is not received within 14 days, the application will be cancelled.
When a membership vacancy occurs, you will be mailed a membership application form
to be completed and returned with the appropriate fees. At that time, you will need
two LYC memberships in good standing to sponsor your application. It might be
a good idea to identify your sponsors while you are waiting to reach the top of the list.
Positions on the membership wait list are NOT transferable. Joint memberships are
offered to couples with a legal marriage license recognized by the state of Delaware
(see the Membership Rules). You may follow your “progress” on the Membership Wait
List. The wait list is updated approximately each month.
*Note – Wait List Application must be in the name of one individual or a couple; only
the names listed below will be offered membership (i.e. be sure to name your
spouse or partner). Please review our Membership Rules available on this web site.

- Conviction of violent or nonviolent crime
- Repeated convictions of nonviolent crime
- Conviction of child abuse or molestation
- Abuse of LYC staff or LYC regulations, once or repeatedly
- Physical confrontation on LYC grounds
- Adverse notoriety that names or involves LYC
