Established in 1932 on Lewes Beach in Southern Delaware
The mission of the Lewes Yacht Club is to serve our members and their families in their enjoyment of the beach, the bay and our Club facilities
while supporting the diversity of our membership, the informality of our activities and our respect for one another.
Relying on the principles of volunteerism, ours is a club of committees overseeing the day to day operations of the Club in a prudent manner.

  • Sunday, May 4th, 2-5pm - Wine Tasting: $10pp. Help select the wines for our 2008 wine list
  • Sunday, May 11th, 10-2pm - Mother’s Day Brunch (reservations a must!)
  • Sunday, May 18 - Board (10am) & Brunch (11-2pm)
  • Saturday May 24, 3pm - Summer Season Begins!!
    • New Member day and Summer Kick-off events
    • 5pm flag raising and cannon, buffet dinner to follow
  • Sunday May 25, 12-7pm - BBQ and Marina Events Day

    • We are still accepting LYC members for the swim team, but please don’t delay in getting your registration forms in!

  • April hours are: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to Noon.
  • Sunday, May 25th – Marine Events Day:
    • All Day Chicken/Ribs Barbeque
    • Boat Safety Inspections by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Indian River Squadron
    • Boating Information Booth
    • Nautical/Beach Flea Market – Rods, reels, tackle, boating accessories, beach umbrellas, chairs, floats - anything with a boating, fishing, beaching theme is welcome
    • Sailboat/Windsurfer Rigging & Demonstrations
    • Surf Fishing Demo
